-- ABSTRACT:
My research is entitled « Passage from silent maturation to tmnsformative action: elicitation of a path toward the appeasement of chaos». What I call transformative action can be likened to Pascal Galvani's concept of Kairos «an emerging moment, a creative instant, the emergence of meaning making, of a new form (2011). The word trasformation refers to the upsetting (bafflement) of identity following such action. It's put in contrast with an invisible process, the silent maturation, enabling it to acquire its full maturity and so become the conclusion of a sequence leading to a renewal of identity. I call this renewal, the appeasement of chaos in reference to a restored harmony following those transformative actions. I have a firm belief. The way I accompany groups to move into action is very similar to the way I take action in my own personal life. To consider those two levels in my research gives me a large wealth of data to analyse my psychosocial practice in its broader senses. So I used both, an event in my personal life and my practice as a consultant in the evaluation domain as my field of research. What interest me essentially in this theme is to understand what favors this passage: what are the conditions that facilitates the transition from silent maturation to transformative action?
Logical objectives can be deducted from that level: to explore how that process takes place, describe it and identify the facilitating conditions. To be consistent with the two levels of consideration on my practice identified earlier, I've chosen methodologies for collecting data from the field of phenomenology. For the pragmatic level of action, I turned toward the elicitation interview according to Pierre Vermersch (2012). As for the existential construction, I favored the autobiographical narrative. The analysis used the grounded theory inspired by the work of Glaser and Strauss (2010). This research leads me to the praxeology approach to practice analysis. The main purpose of the progression or passage is, originating from the preparation of a ritual gesture to revealing the "invisible" meaning in the silent maturation to the bearers of an action, to better understand this action and so be able to improve it. The transformative action finds its ripening in the ritual gesture but the simple fact of searching for its significance remains an integral part of it. The appeasement of the chaos comes from actualising anew the identity emerging from the awareness of the meaning first present in action, but not in consciousness. My greatest discovery is the intention that I carry that binds everything: to pay homage to the intelligence imbedded in the action. -- Mot(s) clé(s) en anglais : silent maturation, action, practice analysis, praxeology, renewal of identity, pay homage.
